What a find! This is somewhere you won't want to tell your friends about, but keep a secret all for yourself - its too nice to share!

We were looking for a nice place to stay when we visited Blenheim Palace for my birthday and stumbled on this hotel/b&b on a hotel search engine and from the reviews thought it looked lovely. Wow - we weren't dissapointed!

We stayed in the Brook which had a massive Kingsize(superKingsize?) bed and a view over the courtyard from our own little terrace. Our room was off a private corridor and had its own (very large) separate bathroom with shower and bath.

As many other reviews have said it is the small attention to detail that really makes this a lovely place to stay. Apples and sweets in a jar in your room, nice bath salts, a shaving set, slippers and towels for the hot tub and newspapers laid out in the lounge area.

We only stayed the bear minimum but I was loathe to leave the comfy bed and the wonderful breakfast. Breakfast was pure delight with eggs from the chickens and bacon from the farm down the road- you would find it dificult to find better - Thanks very much for a wonderful stay!

We booked this at the last minute and by luck someone had just cancelled. From the moment we arrived the customer service was second to none. The super high standard of the accommodation and the service is truly 5*. We eat in the restaurant and the food and service was again 5* but most of all AJ and Mark not forgetting Mandy the waitress helped us feel like we had become part of there family and not just guests. This is the first time I have left feedback on any hotel but feel I should spread word.

After searching for a lovely romantic unique place to go at the end of our honeymoon we searched the internet and stumbled on Brook Barn. We expected a nice place with comfortable rooms, but we were wrong.......what we found was a an absolute gem. Brook barn far exceeded our expectations, it has the most wonderful atmosphere that cannot be captured in photographs. The room (The Stable) was a delight, the afternoon tea a lovely surprise and the food was also wonderful. SJ and Mark were the perfect hosts.
We are returning this week for a 50th birthday celebration and as it is only a hop skip and a jump from London we have made this our base.......we can't wait.
No-one should hesitate to book Brook Barn......you will not be disappointed.

We stayed for one night in the Garden room, wish we could have stayed longer. I can't think of one bad thing to say and would have to write an essay to list all the good. We can't wait to go back, prob the best b&b in the country.
