We got married at howfield manor last year and would recommend it to anyone as a wedding venue. We had an amazing wedding which we will never forget and which was also fantastic value for money compared with other venues in the area.
Anyway, onto this year's anniversary visit...
We came back to howfield to relive very happy memories of last year's festivities and were not disappointed. We took advantage of the dinner, bed and breakfast deal and enjoyed a lovely three-course dinner. We were impressed not only by the food, which was well cooked and beautifully presented, but also by the impeccable service we received. The staff at howfield are always friendly, polite and keen to please guests but we were particularly impressed when the waiter insisted on sending our desserts up to our room rather than canceling then as we had requested when we had to leave the restaurant early to spare the other guests the cries of our new baby!
We stayed in room one, as we did when we got married: huge, comfortable bed, charming fireplace, lots of space for baby, space to sit and have a drink together, excellent tea and coffee-making facilities and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was also worth a mention: welcoming and friendly service again and the best hotel breakfast we've had. The food was excellent quality and freshly cooked to order.
Thanks to howfield we enjoyed a wonderful first anniversary (we even got a card from all the lovely staff!) and we will definitely be back in the future...
Thanks howfield :-)
