“A Great Spot for Lunch or Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

I have been visiting St. Martin for many years and Tatiu has consistently been a favorite place for lunch or dinner. The menu is varied with specials every evening. The cuisine is decidedly French, yet very "American Friendly". Sauces are wonderful and portions are just right. Prices are very reasonably and much less than similar places in Grand Case. They accept Dollars or Euros. I would recommend visiting on your next visit to St. Martin, I don't think you will be disappointed.

“Unpretentious, good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Like others before us we were really pleased with our 2experiences. We were recommended the restaurant by the owners of a house we rented nearby, otherwise i doubt we would have found/tried it. Jean the host is polite and professional, the menu small but interesting and above all tasty and well presented. Daily specials including a good value menu. We went at 6.30pm with a 6 year old and its a pleasant, quiet setting that is fine for kids. We have so far tried fish, beef, veal and pork and everything was good, including the house wine. Our son cleared his plate.

Peeking into the kitchen we saw it was spotless too -always a good sign. Inbetween grand case and orient bay. Open for lunch and dinner.

What can we say - why isn't this place packed?

“wonderful food and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Le Taitu is our favorite resturant in Saint Martin. The food is wonderful - best chocolate mouse on the island. Jean is a great host /waiter who is attentive to your needs without being pushy. He always has a great selection of specials and the food is reasonably priced. It is a quiet open air restaurant in a beautiful setting.

“neighborhood joy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

What a delight to have discovered this neighborhood restaurant on rue Mont Vernon. Delicious crab farcie, other creole and french choices. All that we tasted was delicious. Outside of the densely populated restaurant row, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Service was professional and warm. Many thanks for taking care of us.
