I made my reservation via email. Their response is fast. The downsides are: to finalise your reservation you need to pay the full amount, and you can only pay either directly to their office or by bank deposit. Which is kind of a hassle for people like me who are overseas that I need to ask someone back in Manila to make the payment.
We booked three rooms for 10persons, Vista de Laiya, Infiniti, and Family room. Refreshments are served upon arrival. Checking in was fast. Staffs were really attentive of our requests, eg. setup of extra beds. The rooms are small but clean. The toilet/bath is really small but got everything you need, and they have rain shower so it was ok. Aircon was strong but the fridge however isn't. The temp was already on its lowest but still a bottled water ain't cold enough yet at the end of the day. The toilet lock wasn't working on the Family room. Since the toilet is shared by two rooms and can be opened from both sides, it was kind of a hassle. Vista de Laiya is more roomy than the other two rooms. It has nice view of the pool and the sea. It's located on the 3rd floor so if going up and down the stairs doesn't bother you this room is a great choice. They have a Spa with reasonable prices and, they have recreation/sports room too. Their infinity pool is the main attraction. Definitely a place for relaxation and some family bonding.
The Oceano restaurant offers buffet lunch/dinner, and ala cart. No need to go elsewhere for food.The buffet was ok but I think their ala cart meals tastes better. Breakfast buffet is so so. The resort offers unlimited coffee and tea.
Overall, my family really enjoyed the stay specially he kids. They were mostly in the water the entire time. Will definitely keep Acuatico on our list of favorite resorts. I just hope they will have online reservation soon.
For couples who don't mind going up and down the stairs, get the Vista de Laiya room.
