We visited here, along with the cider farm as part of a holiday and loved it.

My girlfriend had a jacket potato, nice and crispy not a soft microwave job(!) along with a milkshake that was good. I had the pork pie ploughmans (locally made pork pie that was very good) along with their cider. The portions were just right and the cider was excellent. So much so I bough a small keg from the farm!

The only disappointing thing was that we couldn't buy the chutneys from the pantry in the farm. They seem to have different owners - a shame as they lost a sale!

As another reviewer said, believe the hype. There's a nice outdoor area too, perfect for summer.

Second time we've eaten breakfast here (we live just over 100 miles away!). This is just a quality breakfast, good sausage, good bacon and lovely fresh bread. All served hot and cleanly (I hate breakfasts where everything has a greasy film and this does not) and served with a smile. Think we will always try to get a breakfast here when were in the area.

Went to the Cider Pantry yesterday for lunch. Miserable rainy day... and it rains here like no where else. We had the burger, and it looks like the kind of burger Gordon Ramsey does when he sorts out places on one of his TV shows. It was a really nice burger, lovely chunky chips. Drinks were all good too, including their own cider (I remember buying cider here when we rented a house just down the road, long before they opened the restaurant/cafe). The place is more a cafe than a restaurant... but that's not a bad thing or an insult in my book. Having worked mobile in London I know the value of the best food at sensible prices. We had as many drinks as we wanted and took cakes home with us and with tip it was £17 a head... good value given the quality and the fact you're in the middle of a heavily tourist oriented area. The last word goes to the lady who served us, who deserves a special mention for being possibly the best waiter or waitress I have ever come across. She was smiling, happy, friendly & attentive without being over the top and nothing was too much bother and having our one year old with us we needed a high chair and her water bottle refiling etc. We went there because I do now read TripAdvisor when I am going away and this place deserves its position as number one on the small list of Burley places to eat. I would happily go there again... in fact if we don't go to The Jetty tomorrow we will go there again instead (and save a lot of money LOL).

Have eaten here on several occasions so thought a review due !!!
Always great food, excellent value & large portions In fact on my last visit I noticed there were now options for smaller appetites ( not sure if this is something new, or just never noticed before )
They also sell produce and can recommend the fabulous breads.

Very good tasty, unfussy, "home cooked" style food, in generous portions, served by friendly efficient staff. Decent selection of ciders & soft drinks.
