“A gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Loved this B&B, full of quirky Victoriana.
Original bathroom is amazing ! You just melt into the Bed, with exquisite linen.
Sharon is so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Thoroughly recommend.

Room Tip: All the rooms are indiviual, we had the White room on the top floor and our own seperate Bathroom.

“Excellent base”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

The landlady Sharon was exceptionally helpful and the house itself s wonderfully decked out in Victorian artifacts. We had the Blue room which was very very nice.
A little disappointed that the full English breakfast incurs an additional charge.
A very pleasant experience.

Room Tip: The blue room is lovely

“A Moment Back In Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

There are very few places when you walk through a door you feel a transformation that welcomes you back into a bygone era. This is one place that does. We arrived on a very wet afternoon having had meetings and travelling in hours of traffic to be greeted by Sharon who is one of the most welcoming people I have met. It was like "Alice through the Looking Glass" - You went through the front door and it was like a work of art. The attention to detail and the hours of total love and devotion to restoring this beautiful house to its former glory is so apparent. Sharon showed us photos of the rennovations which she has dedicated 10years to bring this where it is today. The rooms themselves are beautiful and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. No expense has been spared on choices of Egyptian cotton sheets or lovely soft fluffy white towels/or robes which could be mistaken for brand new. They are so white..Lovely temperature in the rooms especially from experience Victorian Houses can be cold. Choices of tea, coffee facilities, fresh milk and a kettle are all provided and bottled water which is very much appreciated on return from eating at the lovely Italian resturant down the road that Sharon recommends. The food and service being first class.
The table was laid for breakfast with orginal Victorian china and lace cloths, just so much detail you could not fault in anyway.
This place is unique in everyway. It is clear that Sharon is so proud of her acheivements in being able to offer guests a moment to savour the ambience created in this Villa and she really deserves all the praise and wonderful reviews that people take time to write. You truly are a great ambassador for The Victorian Villa.. Well Done Sharon.

“Simply the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

Without doubt the most unique and interesting B&B I have had the pleasure to stay in. Sharon the land lady has done a superb job with the refurbishment and it is very authentic. A very comfortable stay in the white room with a superb breakfast. Very handy for walking onto the local high street to the local pubs and Italian restaurant, supermarkets, coffee shops etc. Also near to Bushy Park and easy access to bus routes into Twickenham and Richmond. Thoroughly recommended.

“More than just a B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2012

The Victorian Villa B&B is a fantastic place to stay for those who want something a bit more special than your average bed and breakfast. The decor and ambience are amazing, really creating an idea of a Victorian home, whilst still being very clean and comfortable. The bathroom in particular was really stunning. Sharon, the owner, could not do enough to make our stay easy and enjoyable, without being intrusive - the perfect balance.

To summarise; I cannot recommend this place enough and will be looking for any excuse to stay there again!
