“Good place to stay too”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

The tearooms also have a twin ensuite room which they let out for B/B. Delightful airy corner room with windows on two walls. We were made extremely welcome, all at a very reasonable price. Good breakfast, and indeed evening meal in otherwise closed restaurant.

“Very friendly and welcoming venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

We just stopped here for a drink. We didn't eat as we'd just done so but the menu looked interesting. My coffee was excellent and my wife's hot chocolate equally good. For fans of British comedy back in the day the churchyard opposite contains the grave of the late great Sir Norman Wisdom.

“Homely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Bride Tearooms is a hidden gem. Clean, friendly and nice menu. Thoroughly recommend. My husband had the ham, eggs and chips which apparently were lovely and I had a special of the day which was a prawn stir fry. All very nice.

“Great value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013 via mobile

A very friendly, small cafe with a nice atmosphere, varied menu and excellent, friendly staff. My wife says the home made chocolate cake is the best on the island :-)
