“Abandoned paradise expedition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We went on a four day camping trip to the beautiful islands in Coron Bay. It is called "Abandoned Paradise Expedition" Check the website cect.webs.com.
Is was the best experience we had in the Philippines. Camping is a great way to get in touch with nature as you wake up on the beach ready for snorkling just outside the tent.
The captain and his team makes sure everyone is safe and happy, showing you the best of beaches, caves and snorkling or diving in the area. Food was excellent and the small group of 8 makes a cosy atmosphere.
Whatch out for sandbucks though, but go on this trip!

“Abandon Paradise Expedition in Coron Palawan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

I had an amazing time in Coron because of the abandon paradise expedition. It was one of the nicest experiences during the whole trip in Philippines. The tour guide called Don was more like a friend and he was showing us such beautiful islands in Coron. We were snorkeling, swimming with seacows, singing by the camp fire and staying overnight in one of the islands. It was so magical! This expedition was such a great experience, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make their time in Philippines worth remembering. And Don, thank you so much for this amazing expedition. This is a tour you cannot miss!

“The Best of Philippines”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

The best time to go here is during summer (March, April, early May). I personally suggest early March or even on February to avoid the crowd and spend a week or two to fully enjoy Coron.

Places you must go are (at least): Malcapuya Island, Banana Island, Maquinit Hot Springs, Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, Siete Pecados, Barracuda Island, Banol / Atwayo, Dimanlet Beach.

Highlights being Kayangan Lake, and Malcapuya Island. When you go to Malcapuya, be sure to go to nearby Banana Island.

The beach waters in Coron are perfect. It's clear, it's turquoise, it's deep blue, it's clean.
The beach sand is fine and almost white. Food is very cheap. With two lobsters at only PhP650 (USD 16). Accommodation cost ranges from PhP 2,000 to PhP 3,000 per room for two. Be sure to choose air-conditioned rooms as it can get very hot during summer.

People are very friendly. You can ask the locals for the famous restaurants to try. The most expensive restaurant they have is actually very cheap. Nevertheless, food is good!

I can never get enough of Coron. Next time we visit, I'll check out their best diving spots and night safari.

Friendly WARNING:
It will be difficult for you to appreciate other beaches because Coron will definitely set your bar HIGHER. =)
*A million thumbs up for Coron.

In the other side of the world, I mean in south China sea (zulu sea) there is a string of Islands named the Philippines. A jewel of nice places to discover as BOHOL, PALAWAN, ILOCOS NORTE, BORACAY... Where u can add together pleasure, relaxation and wonderland, in a vividness and amazing green and blue azur sea, nice beaches in a tropical style; Welcome to Coron bay, where your disorientation will be total. Will u imagine on the earth such paradise. So why not thinking about it for your next trip? You will definitely enjoy...

“Beautiful part of the Philippines”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

A one-hour flight from Manila is all it takes to get to one of the most beautiful parts of the Philippines. The best thing to do in Coron is stay in the lively city and then take day trips to see the amazingly white sand beach of Malcapuya island and the internal lagoons in some of the other islands. It is worth spending at least 4-5 days here, as there are many places to see.
