“It really is authentic Italian food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Thanks Mario for giving us what we want - real Italian cooking. The pizza's are second to none as is the pasta. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Will return again and again......
A lovely friendly restaurant. See you soon Mario.

“Don't tell everyone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

congatulations to mario for bringing an authentic italian eaterie to sidcup,it's just what we needed to rejuvinate the area, a small and cosy atmosphere brings you all closer together for that family feeling ,and everyone ones getting up close to their neighbour, I would advise you to book a table as it gets full quickly, and people tend to stay for the night ,once you have tried marios pizzas ,you won't go any where else. Forget about the pretenders, with their production line dough and tasteless toppings, Marios is the place to be,and one other thing that is totally unique, which i only found out once i was there, is you can take your own bottle of wine ,(make it italian) as mario has no drinks licence, you pay a small corkage fee ,so no overpriced drinks to pay for. And top it all off with some traditional home made italian sweet desserts ,or the delicious gelatos, Mrs R and me had a lovely time and will try to fit marios into our eating out schedule on a more regular basis. Support Marios and make it a success, but judging by the queue out of the door it already is.

“It's like being in Italy”

Food is outstanding and the staff are so welcoming with a real passion for what they do Mario loves his pizza oven and after tasting the food you will know why he also does the best cheese cake I have ever tasted and a lovely coffee.

“Fresh pizza and home made pasta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

Mario's has recently opened next to Sidcup cycle shop which is just down from the station.

The restaurant is quite small, seating approx 20 but also offers a takeaway service.

I have eaten here on 5 or 6 occasions and had pizza each time. They are obviously freshly prepared and baked in an authentic wood burning oven. Each time the pizza has been perfectly cooked and tasted delicious.

Mario is very enthusiastic about his food and I wish him luck with this new venture.

Forget dominoes and papa johns. Give Mario's a try.
