“Best breakfast in the area with fantastic surrounding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

We visit this cafe 5-6 times a year with family. It does the best full English breakfast in the area. Its well cooked and presented and generous portions. The home made cake are excellent. Staff very friendly and welcoming. When the weather is fine and warm, eat outside and watch the waterfowl and the anglers.

The menu is wide and varied and covers veggies. More than happy to fully recommend

“Fantastic meals all round”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

What a find.....we were camping down the road! And for a break away from the hellish stay there we stumbled on this pleasant place and it's tranquil surroundings!
Make this a definite stop on your days out.....

“Nice!”

Good little cafe. Nice location, good food, very reasonable prices. This place is always busy so say no more. We really enjoyed it for a stop off. You won't be disappointed.

“Great place to watch the water”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2014

Stopped off for a coffee and sat watching the lake. This is a beautiful site for a restaurant and it was clean and tidy. BUT, you have to order at the hidden counter and there may be a long wait to be served as one person does it all. Having said that, it is well worth a visit. A Cappuccino at £2.20 was a tad steep though.
