This is a nice location for a weekend getaway from Banglore/calicut...It has got lots of activities on the list. Rafting, Burma bridge....and sports facilities like a volleyball court, etc... We had good fun at the swimming pool, beach volleyball, camp fire , river rafting and plantation walks. The rooms are huge cottages. But signs of age are certainly showing especially the steps to the first floor in the premium villas. On the upside . The staff are very friendly. The lounge area at the reception is really nice. The adventure sports team were really helpful and understanding towards our needs. On the down side. The swimming pool is rather small. The property is not wheel chair and baby stroller friendly. They were refusing to refill items that got over in the breakfast buffet. ...So it is not a must go site...but an option you can try ...

Room Tip: The River neighboring the property becomes really alive during the monsoons, so travel during that t...

Me and my wife visited the resort for our wedding anniversary. We were looking for a place which had some activities and also a great location and were glad that we picked this place.
The property is in a valley surrounded by hills full of coffee plantations all around. The river Cauvery runs adjacent to the resort and is an excellent place for activities like rafting and river crossing.
The staff is better than any five star resort anywhere in the world. They were extremely courteous and helpful and always always had smile on their face. We chose a deluxe room, which was spacious and clean. The bathrooms were very clean and huge.
All rooms were equipped with the basic amenities.
The food was superb with the chef taking personal care of each guest. The buffet was a mixture of South Indian, Coorg special dishes, North Indian and Continental dishes and each one of them was delicious.
Plenty of activities to choose from - river rafting, golf, cycling, table tennis, volley ball, boating, etc. They resort has its own 9 hole golf course with an excellent coach.
Overall it was a fantastic trip and given a chance, I would definitely visit this place again.

Room Tip: All rooms are surrounded by greenery. A/C is not required during night time.

let me tell you first that the Gallery pics on the Resorts website is typically the same. I had a great time at the resort. The staff was really friendly and helpful with a smile always to greet you. I relished the various recipes of Pork. The activities were nice to keep me and my wife occupied for the day. Had a good hand on the Golf as well with the coach also handing out some tips. Over all, i had a good weekend and would like to come back again.

Room Tip: If you are cost minded then just choose the Den Cottages. they are very well spaced.

Resort is nice and clean. Good food. But slightly expensive. Good location. Only difficulty is approach road. Add more leisure activities particularly water sports. Fitness centre or gym is missing. Staff are well trained.

Went with four friends family 8 adults and 6 kids . Enjoyed it thoroughly . Very Green and Well maintained stayed in Cottages . Cottage 410/402 and 403 /404 had Swings in the Balcony . Big Rooms , maintained OK . No reception of Vodafone and Patchy reception of Airtel . BSNL worked well . They are also near to games room . We did a lot of activities like Zipline , Boat Ride , Coffee plantations . Boat Ride and Zipline is a must . Coffee plantation was a small tour but knowledbale guide. Have a Golf Course couldn't do it but the Coach seems very Knowledgeable
The issue which we had was with food and attitude of people at restaurant . But later Mr Manjunath , one of the directors shared that it because the manager has suddenly left and service is at disarray . Otherwise people at Reception were very well groomed .
Special Thanks to Chetan and there colleagues . Good place to go if u want to enjoy the resort

Room Tip: Go for Cottages which are a bit away from Reception . Big Size Rooms with balcony . Private enough...

We visited this place on my bike from Mysore. The road journey after you enter Coorg district is just mind-blowing, with forest and Coffee plantations all around. The resort itself has a great location, just on the banks of the Cauvery river. We stayed in the Den cottage, which except for being clean, has nothing much to write about, considering it was almost 10,000 bucks a day, EXHORBITANTLY EXPENSIVE for an average room! Bathroom really ordinary, unclean. The restaurant is good, and serves decent food. The pool side area and a dip in the pool is a lot of fun here. The games area was shoddy. What helps this resort is its location. Activities in the resort are a Must-do. We had a dive in the Cauvery river and it was magical, with its soft cool water. The plantation trek by itself was exhilarating and refreshing. Overall, a fantastic experience, albiet the resort itself could be so much more better. Visit in the monsoons if you wish for rafting.

Room Tip: Choose the cheapest room, i think that should be value for money.
