“Good for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

Good, friendly pub that we regularly go to for lunch. Very cosy with log fires. Excellent. Not a great variety of beers as its Shepherd Neame, and on draught is Master Brew,Spitfire and Bishops Finger.

“Sunday Dinner like mum makes !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Have had several Sunday dinners here and and always enjoyed every one of them,
Great meat and fresh veg selection just cant fault.

Even Grub from the bar during afternoon is great, and the helpings are served like you haven't eaten in a week !!

“Great Carvery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Visited the Bonny Cravat for Sunday Lunch , it is recomended to book as it does get busy.
The staff are all very friendly and the service is excellent
The carvery is superb, choice of 4 locally sourced meats , and a vast array of freshly prepared vegetables , home made roast potatoes and yorkshires aslo.
Would definately recommend.

“Nice boozer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Visited this pub over three days. Good choice of food from snackies through to main blowout stuff. Food was always good and well cooked , in stark contrast to its neighbour, and enough of it. Liver and bacon was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth with a good thick savoury gravy and three veg. Bread and butter pud for afters done like my mum cooks it. Carvery too was good , a choice of medium or rare roast beef. I had a bit of everything . The turkey was perfectly done only critisism would be the swede I like mine coarsely mash not quite so pureed. Still it had good flavour. Yorkshire puds looked home made too. Luvly. All home cooked not bought in prepared stuff. Bar staff attentive and pleasant.Garden area with kids playground and outside eating. Well worth a visit.
