If you like camping or caravanning this could be the spot to visit. Doubt I would stay longer than 2nights but it was nice while we were there.
The owner was a little Jekyll and Hyde, nice one minute and horrid the next! If you get things right and she's ok you'll have a nice time, although there were a few too many rules about what you shouldn't do (don't feed the animals - provide some food so we can, don't get near the electric fence - why is this here?, don't go in the wood as you'll kill bluebells - say where you can go, remove shoes - leave somewhere to do this, don't burn anything but fire wood bought at the farm - perhaps providing more would help = we didn't get to feel quite as comfortable or relaxed as we'd like a short weekend break to be)
We stayed in the bottom camp in the 2 gypsy wagons and more modern trailer - all were clean and tidy, the shared 2 loo's were ok and the wood fired shower ok (although annoyingly wood not provided and using all the wood we'd bought to fire this up and provide showers for all in the campsite cost us)
I'd like to find more places like this to compare...happy camping!!!
