“Excellent choice, beautiful accomodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Our family stayed in Adniston Manor 6 nights in Juny, 2012. I found this accomodation on the internet. House is build on the countryside, but not far to Edinburgh airport and to many golfcourses in East Lothian. We stayed in Adniston Suite - spacious and wonderful room with the private sauna. Rooms and all house is very nice furnished. Audrey and Alan were allways helpful to the guests. Breakfast room is furnished very comfortable too. For breakfast was excellent fresh food and drinks every morning and tasted great. I recommend to visit their restaurant Longniddry Inn for good meals in village Longniddry. Large parking place next the house. I hope to return there by our next visit in Scotland.

Room Tip: Adniston suite - is large, with private sauna, large terrace, for parents and 1 child too.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite, with the Queen size bed and the private sauna. It was fantastic, lots of space and very nicely decorated. Felt the bath and the shower could have been bigger or of better specification. The breakfast choice was great, all fresh and tasty. We actually live locally but it was like being miles away. on the 3rd night, we brought our young son to stay as we had been missing him, staff were fine with this and very child friendly. Loved the balcony.

Absolutely fantastic Bed & Breakfast, very welcoming hosts, excellent food and accomodation. Very good base for exploring all of Edinburgh and coastal areas, my 15 year old son and myself made good use of the park and ride which was just up the road and took us directly into the centre of Edinburgh only about 7 mintes away and very cheap to travel in. Hope to come back in the future!!

Stayed here Saturday 13th August 2011 with my Mum and hubby. We were having a family gathering at The Longniddry Inn and we stayed here to avoid the drive back to Livingston after the meal. We stayed in the Orchard Suite. The room was very nicely decorated, spacious and light and airy. Mum was on the sofa bed and this was already made up ready for us when we arrived. The owner could not do enough for us, even booking us a taxi to go over to Longniddry.

Breakfast was excellent. Again the owners couldn't do enough for us. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.

My husband and I have just completed a 3 week tour of the U K and of the many places we stayed this was by far the best. Very peaceful yet close to everything, including Edinburgh. Wonderful amenities, great food and hosts Audrey and Alan who made you feel at home. When we next visit this area of Scotland we will definitely stay here. Have already recommended to several friends in the area, for them to let their visitors know about it.

Room Tip: I do not think there is a bad one!!

We stayed here on our wedding night (30.03.2102) in the Bridal Suite (the room with the four poster bed). We chose the Adniston Manor as we did not want to go into Edinburgh after our Wedding and what a little hidden gem it was.
To the Hosts Alan and Audrey, they are wonderful and make you feel like family. We truly felt totally at home. The room was beautiful as was the sauna in the bathroom. Our room was huge and absolutely spotless. We had a wonderful breakfast with Audrey and her dog the next morning. A full English which was delicious and really hit the spot.
We simply cannot recommend this place enough and I would imagine we will stay here again on our anniversary.
Thank you for the perfect end to our perfect wedding day.
Well done Audrey and Alan.
Much thanks

Room Tip: The room with the four poster. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed here for a wedding in nearby Haddington and it proved to be the ideal location, and a cut above your normal b & b.
Our suite was superb, topped of with our own sauna. Breakfast was excellent - try the porridge with fruit, cream and drambuie - sensational. Alan and Audrey were friendly and helpful a great place to stay just south of Edinburgh.
