“Mothers Day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

Had a table booked for 13 Family Members for a Mothers Day Lunch. Haven't been out for lunch on Mother's Day for a few years due to feeling rushed to finish meals to get extra people in and menu prices pushed up just because they can. However we tried it this year and the Causey Arch didnt disappoint. The table was spacious we didnt fell cramped or felt we had to fly through the food to get us out. It was lovely having both familes enjoying the day and the 4 mams had a really nice time too. There was a set 3 x course menu but pleanty of choice for all the startes, mains and desserts even the kids were pleased. The staff were very nice and polite and got you anything you asked without complaint. I will definitely be going back to this pub for another meal. Thanks Causey Arch Staff.

“Warm and welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Lovely warm people who made you feel really at home. Great food with a good selection. Made a vegetarian meal from scratch to cater for my boyfriend. That would be the only suggestion I could make - to develop a vegetarian friendly selection of country food. Couldn't fault starters, mains and the cheeseboard to finish was fabulous. Definitely returning soon

“Little gem.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

Spent an evening dining here with friends celebrating an anniversary and have to say this pub/restaurant is an absolute gem. The food/menu was really good and the service was excellent with very friendly attentive staff and in lovely cosy surroundings with a lovely log fire which added to lovely ambience of the place.
We also sampled their famous cheeseboard which in my opinion is World class.
I washed this down with a few of their draught Coors which was a really good pint.
There was also a band on so we stayed the entire evening and overall had a fantastic time. Without doubt I would highly recommend this establishment.

“Evening Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

We visit here quite often so this is just an update .
The refurb is a great improvement and the menu has been tweaked and some of the prices lowered .
We had rump steak and it was lovely. The beer and wine were excellent (as usual ) and the welcome from the staff very friendly .
