“Even has some skeletons!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Nothing to dislike, just a couple of pounds to visit this quaint museum in a genuine Medieval structure. Great personal service, well done volunteers!

“A Nice Day Out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Its a bit different and well worth a visit.
Some very interesting exhibits but access is a bit awkward and the stairs and flooring is a bit up and down so anybody unsteady on their feet would need to be careful.
My wife and I enjoyed it though.

“Creaky wobbly museum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Old building with very uneven floor and stairs! Full of local history, and you discover it has nothing to do with King John, and was never a hunting lodge -all part of clever marketing by a past owner!

“Facinating place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

As expected it was unusual to say the least. Very interesting, lots to see in the rooms as it's a museum. Most unusual were the sloping floors upstairs. No charges then but donations welcomed
