“Dont get the chicken breast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

Ive been here a few times and its not bad really. However avoid the chicken breast dishes, i got the chicken for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and was shocked, i dont know how its cooked, but it tastes as though its boiled, steamed or microwaved, absolutely disgusting

“Never again!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

We've been here 4 now and won't be going again! The food is lovely but the service is rubbish! You get seated and asked what drinks you want and then sit for half an hour whilst they're sat on a tray at the end of the bar,1st time was when it first open was sam. Rubbish service miserable server and wrong sauce on both meals also paid for extra mushrooms and onion rings and got none!this I put down to being new however the 2nd visit was again rubbish service but right food so getting better! 3rd visit pants service again and no salad with meal although it was stated on menu! Then visit 4 the final one!!! Went in and seated no problem ordered drinks then sat looking at them for 20 mins before finall. My partner just got them. Ordered food 2nd option as first wasn't available which once arrived was nice. Then took 20 minutes to get the bill! My advice would be to seat ppl then let them get their own drinks also they need more staff although it wasn't that bust the staff look like they're rushed off their feet! I have worked in a busy pub myself but we managed to serve people correctly this place has been open long enough now for it to be run properly!

Food is always hot and well presented, staff are friendly and polite and prices are reasonable.
Good selection of food and drinks are available.

“Shame not got better staff”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

Been here a few times, in fact came the week it opened. At first, very pleasant, lovely staff, good food. As the weeks have gone by it is not as inviting. Food not bad but had it better from here. A couple of weeks ago my friend and I was waiting to be served for a good half hour, we shouted over a waitress and was told to wait as she was seeing to a customer. Two tables had been served while we was waiting, the persons being served had come in after us. We got up and went else where. Tried it again this weekend, we won't be going again. Shame, started off so well.

“worst manageress ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

4 of us went to this pub in February for a meal the manger was really polite and clean looking the meal was really good , we said we would go back in may we went on Saturday 11th of may.

and what a shock we got the new manageress was scruffy looking arrogant and i do not think she knew what politeness was , there was not a lot of customers in and she said there is a wait of 30 to 40 minutes if you do not want to wait there's a pub down the road you might get served there quicker , i had a quick count and counted 20/25 people in the last time we went it was packed and we got served in no time i do not think she wanted any more people in but we waited and got served after 30 minutes the food was terrible when i complained to her she said i told you to go down the road , its your own fault .

i would not go back there again if the food was free , how can a brewery allow such a arrogant and scruffy person to run a pub , how can you have a professional manger to a totally unprofessional one.

please do not go there you will be very very disappointed marks of 10 nil
