“Wonderful 2-day tour of the Mendoza wineries and nearby Andes Mountains.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2011

In January we took a 17-day tour of Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Since the tour did not go to Mendoza and we were particularly interested in tasting many good Argentinian Malbec wines we went a couple of days early in order to be able to spend some time in Mendoza on our own. The representative of an Argentinian winery that we met at a wine tasting at home recommended that we get in touch with Veronica Mausbach at Vintura and we were delighted with the result.
She arranged a guide (Mariana) and driver (Walter) who were with us for 2 full days. They spoke excellent English, were extremely knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for us. Since most of the wineries were closed on our first day (Sunday) we had a lovely drive through the country side and the nearby Andes to Aconcagua, the spectacular highest mountain in the Americas and in the world, except for the Himalayas. We made several scenic stops along the way and, altogether it was a perfect way to spend a lovely day.
The second day we tasted 5 wines at Cantena Zepata and 5 more at Acheval Ferrer, both of which we had selected because of their sterling reputations and we were not disappointed. In between Vintura arranged for lunch at another outstanding winery, Ruca Malen, where the excellent meal was accompanied by 5 more wines.
We would highly recommend Vintura for anyone who wants to get an unbeatable taste of everything Mendoza has to offer in 2 days.

“You need people who care”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2011

We all love the "random" experience of travel its what makes the experience exciting but
sometimes in the search of authenticity you can end up disappointed.
This is where Veronica and Jeff really are fantastic.
You get a totally unique Mendoza experience without having to worry if that charming little hotel has hot water. They know everything there is to know about the area and also take the time to understand what it is that you really want.
Vintura is that rare kind of mix -genuine, sincere and also super professional.

“Super experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2011

I visited Mendoza first time 2005 and it was something extraordinary. Vintura and Veronica really took us for the time of our lives. Good tempo, great experiences, wine and food out of the ordinary.
Veronica really put her soul in to give us super service.
If you go to Mendoza and need a guide. There is only one alternative: VINTURA
The next visit was just as good. Veronica really finds the pieces you need to make a complete visit.
You just want to come back again and again
Salud!

“Veronica Mausbach IS Mendoza!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2011

I've traveled to Mendoza multiple times, and have always hired Veronica Mausbach's Vintura to see all the best vineyards and restaurants. The city isn't like Napa Valley, in that it's a bit trickier to navigate, and you need someone who really knows all the key people/players to see the best of the region. She's taken us to see everything from boutique hotels and vineyards to intimate restaurants we never would have heard about had it not been for her. This stuff isn't in all the guidebooks--let's put it this way: You definitely won't find it in the New York Times or Fodor's until three years after Veronica takes you there. She knows all the proprietors in the area, has a great relationship with them, and makes the experience so warm, friendly and authentic. And even though we might technically know the area so much better after all the years traveling there, we'll still continue to hire Vintura to see what's new. We'll be back yet again, for sure.

“Vintura knew exactly what we wanted and delivered”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2011

Vintura wine Tours set us up with a terrific all day three winery tour, It was great to be driven around accompanied by a guide who knew both wines and Argentina. We had a great lunch at one of the wineries. Our table was otside nest to the vineyards with the pre-Andes in the background. In addition, Veronica helped us find a great bed and breakfast inn on the outskirts of Mendoza. The grounds were beautiful, hostess gracious, and food was quite good. Veronica and her staff were quite responsive and knowlegdeable. In fact, they even personally arranged to deliver our luggage to the B&B when the airline put it on a later flight by mistake!
