“Beautiful setting and value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

We stayed two nights. We selected the cottages primarily so that we could be very close to Wilsons Promontory. But we did not expect such a wonderful view across Corner Inlet and the garden setting. Brilliant! This meant that we had a very relaxing time. The host, Maree, is very professional--caring yet unobtrusive. The breakfasts each day were delivered on time and were well presented. We would strongly recommend the cottages to couples wishing to explore the near area.

When you lose track of days and time, you know you're relaxed! Thank you Maree and Rex for the wonderful hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, exploring Wilsons Prom was spectacular.
I have a motto in life; "live simply and live well". That is what we did over the weekend, we had the basics and you provided us with a great cottage and location. We loved having Sharnie come visit us in the morning and the bird life in the afternoon was lovely. Happy retirement to you when that day comes along, if we could, we would buy the property! Cheers to the simple life!

We only stayed overnight before departing on 3 day track around Wilsons Prom. The cottage was nice, clean, well equipped, cosy, great strong hot shower. The view is fantastic and it really it is the closest possible civilised and comfortable stay before entering the park. If we go back for some more hiking or daily walks, I wouldn't hesitate to book it again. I am amazed that some overseas travellers are so precious and overly critical of "enthusiasm" and reluctance to cook dinner???? Isn't this property advertised as B&B? Have you looked at the map? This in not Europe. This is probably the furthest place on earth, next door to some of the most stunning scenery and total serenity, that you can't find anywhere else. Yet, you expect a 5 star Alpine Chalet service? Sorry, I just couldn't resist not to comment.

The lady of those cottages is going to sell the place, that's perhaps why she didn't really want to offer to cook dinner, only smallish meals like pizza. So we had to drive to the next village which is not round the corner. She did, however, serve breakfast to our cottage which was nice. Hope that someone a bit more enthusiastic will take over, I spotted dog turds in the garden, not very inviting. Plus the beds are too narrow and uncomfy.

An excellent stay. These serviced cottages are located as close to Wilson's Prom as possible with gorgeous beach and farm views. They are equipped with a kitchen so you can cook and cater your trips to the prom (as there are limited options in the park). Rooms are nice and clean and have a wood fire available.

This is an ideal place to stay if and when you visit the Prom. The view over Broken Bay is spectacular both at the end of the aftenoon and at sunrise. The cottage is well equipped, service is friendly, breakfast very good and It is quite close to the main entrance. The only downside of our stay was that we could not to stay an extra night!

We stayed on a Saturday night and were looking for somewhere very quiet and peaceful, Tingara View certainly provided this. We arrived on an extremely hot afternoon and our hosts had opened the cottage up and put the ceiling fan so it was quite bearable inside. The place was spotless clean and well fitted out - we were able to prepare a basic dinner and cooked breakfast (though the hosts will provide a breakfast if you'd like one).
The cottages on either side are about 8 metres away with dense native garden between us so it felt very private; the main windows open to the balcony which has an unbroken view of the fields leading down to the water, which made the balcony a lovely spot to drink wine and watch the evening and birdlife.
Our hosts were very friendly and offered any assistance we might need but left us alone to enjoy the surrounds. It's a very quiet spot though only just off the main road leading down to the prom.
On the whole a lovely quiet weekend getaway.
