Description: Lovina's sunset is something to celebrate.Rikki's beach bistro at Lilin Lovina Beach Hotel is just the place to end your day and start your evening. In the tradition of great sunset gatherings like the Spanish Steps in Rome or the pier at Key West, inspired music is the magnet that brings everyone together. Friends and families can gather for a free live concert from 6 to 7 every night at Rikki's seaside amphitheater. You might find the music romantic, maybe sentimental, definitely uplifting and mostly the kind of music that is the backdrop for people making heartfelt connections and memories by the sea. Food? Yes. Food. But not just any sort of food. Rikki's menu is a bit different, a bit of a surprise. You won't have to make too many decisions, flip through too many pages. It is simple world class fare. Every good traveler, travels bite by bite. At Rikki's, food is a cultural experience, sampling traditions from around the world. You might try a Latino plate with the spice and flare of the Caribbean. The Mediterranean spans flavors from the shores of Morocco to Lebanon. The plates are perfect for sharing between friends or a hearty meal for one. Drinks? That's where it gets really interesting. In a perfect world, nobody travels thousands of miles to a distant shore and orders something they can drink at home. Alcoholic or Nada-holic, the drinks at Rikki's have been crafted, something like potions. They use funky combinations of local brews, fruits, even a vegetable here and there, to channel the exotic, fresh, lightness and beauty of Bali into a glass vessel. Coconut water meets Sangria. Rice Wine meets Tonic. They might have odd names but you'll find them just right, adventuring sip by sip. Rikki's is more than the view, more than the music. It is a place you will want to linger at the dimming of the day. Intimate and Fire-Lit. You'll sit close to the sea, close to the sand, and find yourself closer to those you love.

“Sunset serenade”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2014

Rikki's restaurant is located at Lilin hotel on the outskirts of Lovina. If you're after a beautiful beach setting for a great sunset, this is the place to be. There is music every night from 6.00 til 7.00 but if you can make it on a Wednesday or Saturday you will be entertained by the talented owners, Rikki and Brian. The cocktails are great and very unique and the food is also quite unique and very tasty, I would highly recommend a visit if you're lucky enough to be in Lovina.

“Rikki's? .... Great Food?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2014

Ok, I'm either confused or people here are rating another establishment. So to be clear, I'm rating Rikki's that is part of the Lilan Lovina Beach Hotel. I don't recall seeing another Rikki's in Lovina, but I wish I was able to eat where these people had their food.

Drinks: Overpriced for the area, but well made. They bank on you not exploring the area to markup their prices.
Food: Sub par, well presented but all generic, they use the same meats for each dish and just put different sauces and condiments to make it taste like/look like another example: American Soul.. bbq sweet flavors.. on shredded chicken.. with some dry cornbread. The Latino, caribbean seasonings.. on shredded chicken, and taco wraps..etc etc..
The food honestly isn't up to standard for the ratings provided. Do yourself a favor. Venture out, you are in a nice little town with great food only footsteps away.

I recommend the Spice Beach Club, they have great food free transportation, and better scenery. You won't be disappointed. For a more flavorful experience stop in any of the nearby Warungs.. food is great there.

Service:
Room for improvement, the waitresses give you fake names so you never give the correct names for review (hi Julia!! .. like Julia Roberts...seriously!?!?) . And the prices for the drinks have changed but the menus aren't updated. When you challenge the price, they look at you and state that is the old price. (it would be great to mention that before you order something)

Entertainment:
They come at 6, it is a nice experience, but there are other locations that really get into entertaining you while you dine. They play songs, for about an hour -hour and a half.. smoke, packup and leave.

Setting:
Beautiful, you get a great sunset a great view, a great relaxing feeling, minus the harassment from locals. They close around 8pm so don't expect to have a late night cap dinner here.

Two stars is the proper assessment for the overall experience. Not for one aspect of it like most reviews seemed to have done.

“Best place for the lunar eclipse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2014

This is the one place in Lovina Beach that stands out in its variety of food, quality of service and the scenery. The beach is clean and we had a brilliant view over the ocean and could witness the lunar eclipse whilst nibbling on fruty drinks and healthy snacks! The hotel looks beautiful as well, but sadly it was fully booked out.
Definitely the one reson to come back to lovinia!

“Pulled pork so good you'll cream your jeans! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2014

Hot damn! This place rocks! Sweet menu, something a little different.

For starters there were the pork sliders. Each serving had 3 little round rolls stuffed with pork and coleslaw that were absolutely amazing.

Our table ordered the Latino which lets you make your own burritos, the American with pork, corn, muffins and wedges, the vege pasta (single bowl meal) which had too mach capsicum, the Bombay, a dry indian style curry that left a bit to be desired (also a single bowl meal) and the American chilli which was full of flavor but could have used more meat.

All up 5 mains, 4 starters and 2 rounds of drinks for 820k. Very well priced. Nice location right on the beach and attentive quick staff.
