We stayed one week in Bira and went to Salassa Restaurant every day. The owners Santhi and Eric are a lovely couple make you feel really welcome. Santhi cooks everything on her own. For that reason you have to wait quite a while for your food but you will definitely not regret it. She only uses fresh ingredients and also vegetarians will find some great dishes. Some recipes are old family secrets that you will not have tried before. You will get high quality restaurant food for warung prices. The terrace of the restaurant is a nice place to hang out, meet other travellers or have a nice chat with Santhi or Eric.
