we booked for 7 nights.
the first impression was really nice.
A private villa with private pool. huge bed, nice bathroom etc.
but after a while we realised in what condition this all was.
the hotel was built just a year ago, but though the doors wont close completely, the sun blinds wont rise.. everything seems to be friable.
the staff seems to be really nice, but they are slow and dont work self initiated.
eg they wont clean up your room if you didnt tell them.
even then they would forget either water bottles or shampoo and soap.
the kitchenette is just a little stove and a microwave. the fridge is all rotten and was completely wet all over. the sink is loose and there was mold on the edges.
they just provided one plate, one bowl and one frying pan. no cutlery or flipper.
the television and the whole system was not working.
after a staff came and tried to fix it for about 1 hour it worked but just with a annoying buzzing on the speakers. the tv has 535 channels included the premium us channels such as hbo etc but they are all blocked. about 30 of theses 500 channels are activated. the reception is really bad.
the pool looks really nice. but its freezing cold.
not to be swum in. also way to much chlorine. and they dont clean it.
there are leaves and dirt on the ground and on the surface.
the whole villa is too shadowy. its too cold to relax outside. too many trees around...
also the bathroom is not clean at all.
there is mud in the corner, everywhere tiny bugs crawling around and the bathtubs inlet provides sandy green tinted water.
The breakfast is terrible. you can choose between continental or american breakfast (both with uneatable toast, croissants, and sweet something breads, honey jam and butter, a way to sweet juice, tea or coffee, and a tiny fruit platter) the american has an addition egg the style you want. any style is bad. scrumbled is too fluid (they use a ton of oil for cooking), omlette is too dry.
they bacon is actually just fine. but its just one stripe.
if you dont want to eat regular breaki then you can have nasi goreng.
one of the worst i had on bali and very small....
there is no restaurant for lunch or dinner.
the whole hotel seems not to be built sophisticated
the beach is dirty.
in front of the hotel there are always some people telling you they belong to the staff eg "marketing manager" "transport manager" just a shtstorm.
they are annoying and try everyday to sell you things or drive you to places or take you snorkeling.
check out lilin lovina beach hotel, its about the same price, they have the best service here.
its managed by an american couple.
the food is tremendous, same as view (sunsets in the evening) the ambiente and the staff.
we are going to move there for the last night.
