Stay here as often as I can, great food, excellent staff, most rooms ok but a little small and in need of a coat of paint, bathrooms need an update, free parking and close to the A38.Free wi fi in all rooms.

we stopped off at the exeter court with two boys (7 and 3) to break up a long journey from yorkshire into Cornwall. we were pleasantly surprised. I stay in a lot of 4 star style hotels with my job and this was a bit different, it was cheap but good value. We had a large double bed with a bunk bed for the boys. If you are expecting the lap of luxury then you will be disappointed. the rooms are ok not massive, the bathroom was clean if a little tired looking but perfectly acceptable for the location and price. we all slept well. For dinner we headed to the pub just down the road, the food there is excellent and good value. We ate breakfast at the hotel which was very good as well. Nothing to complain about at all, the boys loved it as well.

We stayed at the Exeter Court Hotel to break up the journey to Cornwall for my 10 year old granddaughter. We opted for a room for 3 as opposed to a family room as it looked bigger and proved to be the right choice and at the same price at £79 for B & B. the room was plenty big enough for the 3 of us, and was clean and comfy. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was pretty good - a power shower with plenty of power :) We had the choice of dining in the bar or the restaurant, and although myself and my husband would have preferred the restaurant option as they did a reasonable 3 courses for £19.95, there wasn't much for a 'won't eat anything she hasn't tried' granddaughter so we ate in the bar, but we still had a fairly good choice however so all were catered for and enjoyed our meals (especially the pud afterwards). Breakfast was served in the restaurant, and offered a good choice, You helped yourselves to the cereals etc and the main breakfast was served to the table, which we prefer rahter than the free for all at the buffets at some hotels. The hotel is motel style, handy for the motorway and the main A roads into Cornwall but set far enough back so no traffic noise. There is a pub next door and also a petrol station which was handy for anyting that was needed for the onward journey the next day, Will definitely use this hotel again.

I arrived at 11am as I was due at a Wedding at 1pm. The receptionist was great and she found me a room that I could check in to early to get ready.
The room was clean and very comfortable. All accommodation was on ground level which made it easy to get the luggage in.
Breakfast was delicious with a selection of cereals, fruit juices, Toast with various preserves and a a number of cooked choices. I had a delicious vegetarian English breakfast.
The hotel was very convenient for the Motorway but still managed to be very quiet, a very peaceful nights sleep.
Plenty of parking a free wi-fi ab absolute bargain will definitely stay again.

Stayed two nights in this conveniently situated and pleasant hotel. Receptionist was welcoming and we were soon in our room (all on ground floor, so no struggling into lifts, or up stairs). Room was a reasonable size, quietly situated, with comfortable beds. En-suite well equipped, with both bath and shower, plus toiletries, and nice fluffy white towels. Breakfast was served in a pleasant dining room, with ample quantities of fruit, bread, toast, butter, jams, etc. and yoghurts and selection of cereals. Cooked breakfast appeared as standard on menu, but we were allowed to make small changes, and it was all freshly cooked to order, and extremely nice. Would certainly recommend this hotel for travelling centre, business, etc.

We wanted a cheap stopover on our way down to Cornwall, we arrived at about 9pm and we were still able to get food at the bar which was great and left early in the morning. It is right beside the main road with lots of parking, the rooms are quite small but for £62 a night I wasn’t expecting anything more.

I stayed here recently on business, my thoughts/opinions are:
- Good location from motorway
- All the rooms are in separate blocks in a motel style
- Restaurant and bar in the main building
- Plenty of parking
- Small rooms, would have been a bit crowded for 2 ppl. Nowhere to out luggage for even 1 person.
- Free wi-fi
- Nice food in restaurant/bar area.
- Breakfast was average, no continental on offer. Poor fruit selection. No veggie cooked breakfast.
