Having just spent 5 days at Les Quatre Saisons, for our 25th wedding anniversary, I have rushed to Trip adviser to rave about the place.
Upon arrival we were met by Patrice and shown to our suite, The room was clean and tastefully furnished and decorated, as was the living room and the lovely wet room style bathroom that boasted a characterful stone wall!
We had chosen to eat in that night, and by Jove what a great decision that was.
Having spent an hour or two in the pool, we the showered and went to the dining room that opens onto some of the most fantastic views across the local hills to the sea.
Here we met Didier, Patrice's partner in crime and were then treated to a truly delicious meal, that had been prepared by Patrice, stunningly well prepared and delicious.
The following morning breakfast was served by the pool, just outside our room. A selection of local fresh fruit and pastries, home made jams (I particularly liked the green tomato Jam) and some piping hot coffee and Tea
10/10 - Thank you Thank you Thank you for making our 25th anniversary so special.
We will return as soon as the bank manager allows us too
I strongly recommend the place, excellent on all levels!!!!

My husband (Ginger) and I spent two nights at Les Quatre Saisons. It is difficult to say what was the most perfect part. The rooms are good size and very private. The breakfast is delicious and unhurried. The pool and views from the house are terrific. Finally, the food is excellent, fresh and a bit decadent. We loved it.

In August, we decided to spend three nights at Les Quatre Saisons in Le Castellet just south of the Provence region based on reviews and web site which described the inn as quiet and charming. When we arrived at 5 PM, we were shown our room with metal shades down due to the heat, which was extreme. We opened the shades, which revealed a sliding door with no screen and a broiling terrace with two lounge chairs (discolored by sweat and torn) and thin curtains that did not cover the sliding door. We found one side window, which we tried to open, but couldn't--the owners said that previous guests had perhaps broken it. The heat, as you can imagine, was suffocating, especially since we faced the west and there was no canopy to block out the sun. We mentioned to the owners that a shade would help and received blank stares in return. We asked for a fan and were told there was none. We swam in the pool (you must shower each and every time you go in; do not track water into your room--you get the picture?), which was pleasant and dinner was mixed, despite the fanfare that one of the owners had been a chef (I suspect a pastry chef, since the dessert was excellent). The night for sleeping was a disaster: we opened the sliding door and the lack of cross ventilation made the heat unbearable. As we read, two bugs flew in. We took off the lights and were greeted to the bass of a nearby discotheque (it was Friday night). The music died down at 2 AM, which is when I fell asleep (to be fair, my wife fell asleep at 12:30 in a pool of sweat). About three a.m. mosquitoes invaded the room; at sunrise a couple of flies danced around my face. If I had any doubts about leaving, the dried up watermelon at breakfast was the crowning achievement. When I explained my night's experience to the owners, they claimed that no one had ever complained about: the heat, the noise, or the bugs--there was a sheepish look to his face, which belied his words. We had to pay for three nights (we reserved with an Amex card, but the owners only accepted Visa or MasterCard because they said they didn't want anyone disputing the charges), though we stayed only for one. The owner refused to refund any money, claiming that he would not be able to sublet the room. I asked him to try; he shrugged his shoulders even though there was no way to verify that he did. He wouldn't even refund the four breakfasts we would not be eating. Upon my return to the U.S., I asked him to reconsider. He responded no, after my second inquiry, then ignored further correspondence. Be forewarned--avoid this place. I have no pictures, but don’t believe they are needed.

We stayed here while looking to purchase a second home in the area and it is great!
Really quiet location on the side of a mountain with amazing views towards the sea. The room was lovely, there were alot of frogs in heat outside so a little natural chorus added to the sense of being in France. Great Pool in the sunshine and wonderful breakfast. We really enjoyed it
