“Excellent Excellent !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012 via mobile

Clean modern building inside and out. Prestine tables with white table cloths gave an excellent first impression of the restaurant which was recommended by friends, who - like us - had been looking for a good quality Indian restaurant in the Murcia region. Since moving to Spain over 4 years ago, a good Indian restaurant is about the only thing we have missed. There are plenty Indian restaurants around this area but none of them are equal to a high quality UK location - this one is.

Flavours are exceptional, the meats and fish are high quality. Service is prompt and attentive.
First time today but we will definitely be regulars here.

“Gateway to India is a place you should give a wide berth to”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

After receiving the flyer through the door we thought we'd give it a try as they had advertised a set menu at a certain price and it said you could have anything. After arriving and ordering we were told only chicken and only the starters numbered from 10 to 16 could be had (we should have took note of this and left but we stayed unfortunately) we put in our order after being told we couldn't have want we wanted, when the food arrived, the chicken jalfrezi my husband ordered was so sour that he couldn't eat it. The peshwari nan bread did not have any filling in and my meal wasn't up to much either. The mushrooms in the rice were tinned and definately not fresh too. After reporting our find to the owner, he was not much help or even interested in giving a refund for my husbands meal that he didn't even eat. We shall not be returning to this horrible restaurant again and would like to warn others not to go either.

“One of the best I have tried outside of the UK!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

My mate doesn't live very far from this restaurant and I was over visiting him. He knows I like a curry, so we tried this place. He had never been before and knew nothing of what to order, so it was an experience for him, too. The service and decor are very good and the food comparable to a good curry house in the UK. I'm a bit of a curryholic and can honestly say that this place is well worth checking out, if you are in the area. If you are on the La Torre (Polaris World) golf resort, then it's just around the back from that, basically. They may even deliver.

“Very enjoyable evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012 via mobile

We wouldn't normally deviate from the countries cuisine but after lots of tapas we thought we would have an Indian meal. It did not disappoint, food and service were great.
