We were collected from our hotel in Senggigi by Nining's husband and driven to their home on a nice piece of land by the river. They have a garden where they grow vegetables and 4 home stay rooms in a new modern building. We spent the morning cooking, making a curry, cooking fish in banana leaves and a few other things I don't know the names of. Once we finished cooking we sat down to the feast we helped create. We failed to get closer to eating it all and then just say and chatted, Nining's English is very good and apparent her German is better (having lived in Switzerland). It was a really pleasant memorable day.
