“Lovely fish by the beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

Had a lovely, simple meal here with my wife. Both had marlin steaks with chips and rice and some cold beers and loved the chilled out atmosphere by the beach, with a nice sea breeze. Waiters were good fun and got the guitar out later, and were pretty impressive. Amazing value for money. Not a formal restaurant but perfect for a laid back evening.

“Loved it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Bamboo tables on the beach, candlelight, amazing fresh seafood and bills in the order of 5£ pax. The setting is romantic and I would definitely recommend dining by sunset with your wife or gf. The family running the warung was so friendly and genuinely helpful.

We tried all the main dishes over 3 nights and were only disappointed by the seafood cap cay, which was mediocre. Each other dish was a delight!

“Fantastic place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

This place is just by the sea and you can eat with your feet on the water. It is like to be invited for lunch/dinner from an Indonesian family. The fish is fresh and you can see the fisherman bring it in the morning.
High reccomended

“Incredible setting and good, cheap local food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Get there at sunset and dine with candlelight on the beach with fresh seafood based dishes or fine indonesian food. We had dinner 3 times in a row, got appetizers + 2 main dishes per person each time. About 5€ per person. Wonderful mie/nasi goreng (fried noodles/rice) with fish or chicken, tasty rolls, fantastic indonesian style chicken breast. Also tried cap cay but did not like it at all.

Probably a must try for a romantic couple, but a good shot anyways.

“STILL THE BEST FOOD IN MANGSIT BEACH LOMBOK”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

I have been here before in the wet season & now again in August to enjoy many lunches & evening meals....the restaurant was busy at most meal times....it is great to sit with your feet
in the sand & enjoy a gentle breeze while watching the Sunset over the Lombok Sea....I have been coming to the Gili's for the past 13 years...(dropped Gili T a few years ago as very over
crowded now days).....so Mangsit Beach is the next best place to enjoy the Peace & Quiet...Food Friends & a Few Cold Beers & an Excellent View.
