“Great little eatery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

The Indonesian food here is really tasty and they're not afraid to do proper "pedas" Indonesian style, even for the tourists.

“Bland and hassled by street hawkers”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

If you are after bland touristy food and want to be constantly hassled by hawkers selling DVDs and jewellery, then this is your place! Only plus was it is cheap, other than that it is another disappointing food venue in Lombok.

“Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

We went here for lunch and had a red thai curry. It didn't taste anything like a thai curry and had gritty bits in it. I was ill for two days afterwards. The other annoyance was that street hawkers are free to walk into the restaurant, so whilst you're eating you're being hastled to buy items.

“Not worth a visit”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Had dinner in bumbu last night, as it very close to our hotel and we thought we would give it a go.

We were shown to our table by the friendly waiter and given menus. I noticed that the table cloth had cigarette burns in it and food stains.

We had just received our drinks when I noticed 2 guys sitting on their motorbikes right next to us, both smoking, one talking in a very animated way on his phone. Then the hawkers started on us.
It seems this cafe will let any of the hawkers Interupt you whilst you are dining.
This continued through the meal, which while ok was marred by hawkers interrupting us trying to sell fake watches, wooden ornaments etc.
When the bill came, we couldn't get out of there quick enough.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced, relaxing place to have a lovely meal, this is NOT the place to go.

“Al fresco dining Indon style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

This place was easy to find, right next to the Arts Market in Senggigi.
Staff was friendly, food was alright. Nothing to write home about. They offer a variety of food.
The place is generally clean.
But felt right at home.

The only drawback was the number of hawkers plying their wares.
