We stayed over at Wits End for 4 days in the week of new year 2013. We had the 6 sleeper chalet with single bathroom. The accomodation is a solid 3 star. All requirements for a pleasent stay are catered for. Even borrowed a potjie pot from the owner for preparation of an evening supper. It is really a pleasent resort, generously layed out, with each chalet having its own privacy. The donkies on site add a particular charm to the place. The location is also well situated in the central Drakensburg, I would guess one of the closer resorts to Monks Cowl, which offers fantastic hiking opportunities. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. In addition the daily rate does not cost an arm and leg, unlike other resorts in the area. I will definately return to Wits End when I plan to visit the central Drakensberg again.
