A Mughal period monument under ASI situated in old Thanesar city, built in memory of sufi saint ABD-UR-RAHIM popularly known as Sheikh Chaheli,spiritual teacher of Mughal prince Dara Shikoh. monument is made by sandstone & marble.Main tomb is octagonal shape on a terrace facing madarsa. There r 12 cupulas on four sides,There is another tomb on western side believed to be tomb of his wife..On back side of this there is a Harsh ka tilla which have been excavated, many artifacts of different era found ,kept in its museum.
I may have seen this 100 times since my early childhood.
Well maintained, must see.
