We booked through Booking ,com - which told us all rooms had en-suites and we could have an evening meal. We sent 2 emails requesting dinner in the evening, both were ignored. I phoned and was told 'we don't do evening meals any more'. We felt obliged to go there as we had given a credit card number to Booking.com ! We arrived and were shown a nice room with no ensuite and told the bathroom was across the corridor ! We asked for a room with an ensuite and were given a very dark room which smelt of damp and had a noisy saniflow toilet. There is no air conditioning, we had to leave the tiny windows open whilst we were there.
Breakfast was poor, a beautifully laid table, poor coffee, very little hot milk. There were a few natural yoghurts, a piece of processed cheese, a few half slices of ham and some bread. With a flourish, the host presented us with a basket containing 2 croissants - we don't eat croissants but they were clearly the highlight of breakfast !! No fruit at all - note that on the photos there is a large bowl of fruit on the breakfast table. Overall this was a very expensive overnight stop and we would not recommend it.
