Where to start, in honesty I cannot understand who this get away would appeal to. From the photos it looks like a bright, spacious, clean apartment set in beautiful scenery - please don't be fooled by this! In reality it is a very cramped flat in what can only be described as a residential estate! If you stick your head fully out of the window and arch your neck right up you may get a glimpse of the sea, and the beautiful lake you see in the photos - in reality it is a muddy (and smelly) stretch of water with run down, shabby remains of boats on it. Myself and my friends felt very unsafe when walking to the shops (again a misleading advertisement, the shops took 40minutes to walk to) we were approached, and then followed home by a group of 4 Eastern European men - terrifying to say the least. So we decided to spend the weekend in, we stocked up on treats and hot chocolate and prepared for a cosy night in...with scary films and a little music. Nothing too loud and for a place that is advertised as catering for 'stags & hens' we thought this to be very tame - after a disappointing weekend we left. On texting to see whether when they would be returning our deposit we received an extremely rude text saying that because of noise complaints we would not be seeing our £200! We were horrified! After paying such a high price to stay in below average accommodation (when we walked in it hasn't been cleaned - there was still confetti from the last party and hair clogging the sink in the family bathroom). When we replied raising our concerns we received another rude text saying that the bin was dented, and that someone had been sick - these are completely fabricated lies. To summarise if you are looking for a fun weekend away with friends this is not the place to come - unless of course you plan to sit in silence playing scrabble. Or perhaps you are a family wanting a relaxing get away - well there's nothing relaxing about staying in a dirty, cramped flat in a quite frightening estate. The pool is a community pool, as is the jacuzzi - you have to walk through the estate to reach them and when you do they are nothing like the photos, instead they are dirty & dingy with poor lighting and very savoury characters lurking about. I apologise for the long review but I really must warn you off - I feel that I have been violated by staying here & to not receive my deposit back really has been the cherry on top. Steer well clear!

Dear Holidaymakers. Please when considering making a booking ignore this TA comment. This was a undisclosed hen party who caused damage, mess and upset to surrounding neighbours.
They weren't ready to leave at 11am so my housekeeper had to be delayed, which could have in turn impeded on the enjoyment for the next guests coming that day.
The girls had a lovely time and sent a text saying so. The property is brand new, very spacious, with lovely sea and down views from the living areas, seen without any 'stretching!!' and is everything it shows on the website.
The pool is for residents only and is an added bonus for any get away.
There are a bank of shops less than 5 minutes walk away enroute to Shoreham Town. The hen 'ladies' would have found them impossible to miss!
Shoreham Beach is a mini Southbanks and there are no undesirables around, all I can think is that they picked them up in Brighton.
Quay Duplex is a relaxing, peaceful, quiet apartment in a well kept residential beach area with 1 to 2 million pound houses just one street away.
There are a unusual array of designer/quirky houseboats that are occupied and are a great treat to see and a major tourist attraction for the area.
The muddy lake they refer to is actually The River Adur and used by the Adur Outdoor activities centre as popular for all watersports, it is not smelly or unclean and well worth booking for some fun activity during your stay.
This is pure slander as this hen party lady did not like the £80 (not £200!) deposit being withheld to pay for the damage which exceeded this small deposit.
You will not be disappointed if you stay at Quay Duplex
