“A good place to be”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

This place continues to deliver excellent food. There's normally a wide range of specials which extend a slightly limited menu and the weekday set menu provides great value for more casual dining. The wine list is also limited but it's good value.
Jackie and the staff deliver great service.
Well recommended

“A day to remember!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Many thanks to the Into the Blue team for a great Sunday lunch. The family had 3 birthdays to celebrate and its hard to find one restarant that will give a group ranging from 12 - 80 such great food and service. Highly recommended!

“Great Value, Good Food, Excellent Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Just had lunch there with my wife. We were welcomed in and immediately asked if we wanted water (in most restaurants we have to ask for it!). All service was done in a most friendly and informal way which suited us fine. Drinks came quickly (we had glasses of the house wine @£3.75 and it was good). Although the A La carte and Specials Menu looked great and appetising we deliberately went for the 2-course Lunch Special at £10 to see how good the food was at that price. We were not disappointed. Our first courses were Calamari and Thai Fish Cakes - both were delicious and well-cooked. I then had the 'Italian Fish and Chips' whilst my wife had the Risotto. My fish (cod) and chips were presented and cooked very well. My wife enjoyed her Seafood Risotto but thought the prawns were too small (otherwise a 5* may have been forthcoming).
The food was substantial for us both with very attentive and friendly service from the two waitresses.. The staff seemed genuinely pleased with our custom and nearly all (including a couple of the chefs) said goodbye when we left. Total bill, including drinks, for the two of us, was £27.50
I rate this place as great value and, although its outlook is not exactly in a prime spot on Shoreham Beach, the restaurant has a cosy and pleasant feel about it. Definitely going back.

“Midweek lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

Really fresh Calamari, cooked beautifully, no rubber bands in sight!. Risotto really good, and I am fussy about my risotto, often disappointed by restaurant offerings. Great value, highly recommend
