“Our Local Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

We use the Village Inn as regular place for a pub meal. The food is good pub food and great value for money, the staff and the landlord (Randy) deliver excellent customer service. The the atmosphere is typical of a local pub. It is also open on Monday evenings which many other pubs aren't due to lack of business. For anyone who likes pool there is a separate pool room and there is a function room with a small dance floor for parties.

“Always Brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

The Village in is our number one spot to take visitors and guests. The food is as brilliant as the atmosphere and the Beer! The staff are exceptionally friendly and the menu varied and suitable to a wide range of tastes. Just Brilliant.

“Very good quality pub food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Had a Friday night meal - my first visit to this place. The pub looks tired and to be honest the seats were the most uncomfortable restaurant seats I have ever sat in. It has however, a lot of charm and although the tables were worn, they were also spotless. So many times in these types of places the tables have sticky bits and dirt on them. However, this is not the case here. The place was also very busy which is a good sign. Service was very cordial and welcoming. The food, to be honest, was vfery good. Hot, tasty and well served and good value for money. I would have no hesitation in going back.
