“Fine relaxation hotel in nice surroundings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

The hotel is located in a 100 years old mental-hospital at the hills on the south side of Vejle fjord. The nature is fine for walking and the view is beautiful.
The hotel has a very well equipped wellness department with all kinds of bath and massage, fish peeling your feet and a work-out studio.
After treatments there are fine relaxation facilities with no rush. The staff is well aware of your needs, and the food is good.
Breakfast is average.

Room Tip: Get a room near the spa.

We spent a few days in relation to a concert in Horsens.
We booked a Luxury Double Room and had a great view over the garden and down to the water.
The breakfast is outstanding. Lots to choose from and plenty of it.
All the people at the location were very friendly.

The downside was the prices for food. We paid close to 700 kr for a simple lunch with coffee/cake. That is very pricey.

Dear Yodavonbeck

Thank you for your good review.

I am happy that you liked our breakfast. Our priority is to keep it varied, fresh and to take care of the small specialties.

Regarding your lunch, I do not understand. The price for lunch in our Brasserie/Bar is about. 150,00 dkr pr. person. The price for coffee and cake is 65,00 dkr. and beverages depends on what you are choosing.

We are competitive. Café Conrad in Vejle is one of our competitors and our prices for food is nearly the same.
I can refer to our webside, were you can see our menu and the prices.

We hope to welcome you again soon.

Best regards

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014

After reading quite a few positive reviews before booking this hotel, I was already expecting a good hotel experience. To my surprise however, the hotel delivered in every category and delivering a top notch job throughout.

The spa facilities are excellent, and for it to be so "fresh" on a "old fashioned" hotel property, was a positive surprise. There's a great blend of activities in and around the hotel for just about every age group, and I do believe you would need a few days to really experience the range of things to do here therefore this would have to be at least a weekend getaway.

The inside of the hotel feels fresh and with a great blend of old and new, it really shows that you can combine a historical-setting with a fresh interior.

Getting there might prove a bit difficult unless you have a sat-nav system, but once you're there, you're going to love it and will probably end up spending a solid amount of your time at the hotel premises instead of feeling the desire to go to the nearby town etc.

Of course, I would be doing the hotel unjustice by not letting you know that the hotel only has Hästens beds which are among the best beds you can get. A great night sleep is safely assured!

Would love to go back here next time we're in Denmark, and it serves as a great place to stay for a golfing holiday as well as there's plenty of nice courses in the area.

All in all, I'm giving it my highest recommendation for delivering a great experience at a good price!

Room Tip: A room with a balcony can be recommended for making the most out of your stay.

Dear Larvik

Thank you for your fantastic review on our hotel.

It is a pleasure to hear that your stay at Kellers Park was excellent.

Our hotel have new and modern sorroundings, but still takes place in old and historical biuldings. We are proud of our story and are happy to tell our guests and those who are interested, about it. If you are interested, I can highly recommend you to visit the Kellers Minde museum next to the hotel and find out what did happend at that time.

We are looking forward to welcome you again next time you visit Denmark.

Best regards

This hotel is the best I gave stayed for a long time.
The rooms are very large. The spa, with the outside whirlpools, is just fantastic.
The dinner is fancy and excellent and is worth any penny.

The area around the hotel is very quit and for a gate away just perfect.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

Very nice place and I'm highly satisfied with everything we experienced, the room, dinner and breakfast, spa and the staff.

Only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the lack of attention to minor details: the wardroom door was broken and held in place with a tissue, one of the cups was chipped, when I went for a massage they could have referred my friend to the designated spa area in stead of letting her wait in the main room, changing rooms in the spa are very tiny with only two showers working. However, these are all minor details that will keep me from coming back.

Dear DR1910

Thank you for the review. I have taken your comments into account. We do a huge effort to keep the hotel in a great state and to be thoughtful of our guests.

The renewed process the hotel is going through, I hope that you will see and feel a difference on your next visit. We should be "renewed" by the end of summer.

Regards,
Thomas

I was very pleased with the hotel, staff was nice, and the activities that they provide are top class. Pool, sauna, hot tub outside. Restaurant is nice, but the food could be better!
Bed is really nice, and everything looks very pleasant. Room has everything you could need, and more. Location is also beautiful.

Great Hotel, relaxing spa ambient with many different types of baths. The restaurants also has a very high quality level. All in all a real 5 star experience. The Hotel setting is also beautiful and a walk or run in the area is recommendable!
