“Dreaming of owning a big boat.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

Always enjoy a visit to Hillarys finding a wide variety of food choices to suite the wants of my large family and dreaming of owning one of the many boats moored meters from where you sit to enjoy your meal. A fun time and many interesting little shops to explore too.

“Plenty to do”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

I've seen a few marinas around the world and this place isn't shamed by any of them.
For adults there are many boutique shops with a fair bit of variety and a very large range of eating options, not all of which are cheap. There are boats to look at, a sheltered swimming beach (though there can be little stinging jellyfish on odd occasions) and a hotel (pub). Boats can be chartered for whale watching or fishing. There are many attractions for children with a waterslide park, trampolines, high ropes and more. I go quite often and it really is a lovely place. Parking can be difficult. Best to go for the free northern carpark and walk the short distance across the bridged area to the main section. That way you can at least get in and out easily.

“Wonderful option providing something for all ages.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

Is it a fun park, a protected swimming venue, somewhere to eat out, or shop? I would have loved more time to explore. But make sure you are earl to get a park on a sunny weekend.
I haven't seen a venue like this anywhere on the east coast.

“Nice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

Awesome place to visit. Do try the AQWA and whale watching. It is so beautiful scenary. Weather during Spring is just nice. Only that you need to bring along your insect repellent since there are alots of flies. Dont forget your Shade and Sunblock recommended SPF 50 since the sunlight is so bright.
