“Wonderful quirky place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2011

We found this excellent place at the very last minute & phoned to see about vacancies that very night. From that initial call, Necip couldn't have been more helpful. We loved staying here. It was quirky but suited our family (8 year old & 9 month old baby) perfectly & felt just like staying in someone's home rather than a guest house. Our room was up under the eaves but clean & cosy. Good comfy mattress. Not having an ensuite bathroom wasn't a problem as there were enough toilets on our floor with another set on the floor below. The bathrooms were clean. We asked about the possibility of dinner & Necip was cooking a local speciality, boar stew, which was fantastic & we ate on the large balcony under vines full of bunches of grapes. The breakfast was also good, again, good quality local breads, cheeses, etc. The great (real) coffee needs a special mention too. Easy on- street parking nearby. As a tourism professor I really enjoyed staying here & got a real sense of local Turkey. One small thing: the rooms didn't have air-con although a large free- standing fan was provided.

My fiance and I were riding our bicycles throughout Southeast Europe and Turkey back in 2009 and happened upon Guzelcamli and the Pension Ecer and found ourselves in a home away from home. What we meant to be a two day stay stretched to one week and then to two weeks. Necip is a perfect host and a great friend. We thoroughly enjoyed his daily breakfasts and shared the most remarkable feasts every night often rotating cuisines between his turkish materpieces and our Polish specialties. After being on the road for such a long time it was a welcome vacation from our vacation. We learned much about turkish cooking and even got to go out fishing with Necip. We highly recommend a visit to Guzelcamli, the Delik Milli Park, the town's harbor and Necip's amazing hospitality!

I stayed at this pension the last month and it was a nice surprise, I went with my husband, parents, sister and niece and we felt very welcome. The house is surrounded by new apartment buildings but keeps its original architecture and this makes it so charming.
The service is excellent and the dinner was awesome!, we ate a really delicious dinner with some home-made ingredients, unbeatable!
You will enjoy to stay here

Pension Ecer is located just 1km from the beautiful Dilek National Park entrace, with caves, beaches and treks aplenty. Its location is also close to important historic sites such as Prienne and Ephesus.

The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, but the main attraction is the lovely and friendly host, Necip - who was very welcoming from the start and very happy to chat about the local area, the country and himself. He provides a lovely breakfast, accompanied by his homemade jams - strawberry, bitter orange and pomegranite to name a few.

Don't let the slightly rustic and out-of-place farmhouse look put you off this wonderful little place - it just adds to the experience! Sadly, we were just passing through on our travels, but would have loved to extend our stay further and would recommend this place to anyone.

Just a short walk from the entrance to Dilek Natinal Park, Ecer Pension is an absolute gem. Run by the charming Necip--who happens to be a genius in the kitchen and make some of the best tea in Turkey--Ecer is the perfect place to relax and act as a base for some beautiful hikes. The kitchen is available for guest use, and breakfast is delicious, including homemade fig jam you'll want to eat by the spoonful. The rooms are simple but clean, though you may need an extra blanket when it gets chilly.

This is my third time staying at Pension Ecer in the last ten months.
I keep coming back for the great location by a National Park situated on the Aegean...so hiking and swimming nearby. Also, many historic sites within 30 miles.
The host/owner Necip Ecer makes one feel very comfortable and at home.
Necip is an awesome cook so you will enjoy his breakfasts and if you have a chance to have him prepare dinner for you, you will be astounded with the level of quality which uses fresh ingredients and local cuisine.
You won't want to leave!
