“Drive up on a Clear Night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Drive up the hill for an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge with the Bay area all lit up in the background. If you can't make it at night a clear day is great too. Explore the area and end up in Sausalito for a snack, drink or meal. One of the most wonderful vistas in the Bay area.

“A great day in the sun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

Went to Muir Woods in the morning, then decided to meander along the Panoramic Highway and various two-lanes. If you like to drive, this is the place! Curves, views, steep drop offs where there are NO guardrails - awesome! Now I know why every other car up this way is a sports car. It is a wonder though that there isn't someone on a cell phone leaving the road and plummeting to their doom on a daily basis, but, for those who drive sanely, this is a blast! Went up to Stinson's Beach, had a great lunch at the Breaker's cafe, then wound our way back to San Francisco. Highly recommended for the sights and fun in the sun day!

“Great view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

Fabulous SF views from the Marin Headlands across the Golden Gate Bridge. Try to go early in the day as the parking lot fills up, especially on week-ends.

“What a view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

We went to the Marin Headlands one morning during our stay. We were lucky that there was no fog that day. We got some great pictures here, and it was a very picturesque place. Don't miss it!

“City Views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Loved the views of the city, the Golden Gate Bridge and out to the Pacific. Breathtaking!! We were at Hawk's Hill or Hawk's Ridge. Not crowded there.
