“Marin Headland was foggy yet it’s spectacular”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

Marin Headland was foggy yet it’s spectacular when you stop above the Golden Gate Bridge. We could hardly see Alcatraz Island because of fog but ironically we could see everything thing around the golden gate bridge and the island

“Amazing Views, 5-10 Minutes from the City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

If you need to escape the city and see some wide open spaces, but don't have a lot for time for a nature outing, the Marin Headlands is a great choice. Spectacular views from many angles, of SF's downtown skyline, Alcatraz and the East Bay, the SF Richmond and Sunset districts and Ocean Beach, the Pacific Ocean, and of course, the Golden Gate Bridge. Easy! Fantastic!

“Excellent views of the city, bridges, bay and ocean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2012

This is one of our favorite spots to take out of town guests to see a great view of the bay area. Better yet, admission is free and there are parking lots so you're off the main roads.
