There is no way this place can even be considered to be rated over a 3. Plastic service, a soccer match on a old tube set, self serve soda, and the side ally strip-mall location are detractors. The Carne Asada is very good. The beef was beefy tasting and lightly seasoned, not overpowered with rub or marinades and the medium sauce, although not killer on its own, complimented the beef well. It was served with the standard rice and beans that where good to pile onto a corn tortilla with the meat and sauce.
I also downed a chile relleno, it was pretty tasty but I'm pretty sure cooked previously and surrounded by a watery tomato sauce that was unnecessarily. I wouldn't order another. I feel that the Relleno and the tamale are hallmarks of an excellent Mexican food and this was not excellent . This is a decent "Hole in the Wall" not to be avoided.
