“There's a reason it gets busy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

Really good food here. Very casual atmosphere, loud, fun, busy.
The service was very good. I'd read some negative things about the service on Yelp, but we didn't experience anything bad at all.

The beer battered fish and chips are really great, so is the pizza. People have written lovingly about the chips drizzled with balsamic and rightly so. They are great. If we're in S. Lake Tahoe again we'll come back here. Not into beer? I thought their basic wine selection was okay actually, so don't let the brewery bit put you off. Very kid friendly too. Our daughter (6) loved it. It's also loud enough that you don't feel you have to shhhh the kids.

“We had a great waitress and outrageous pizza and great pilsner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Our waitress was soo positive, sweet and very efficient. We ordered pizza with garlic and asked for more garlic. They must have added 10 more cloves, as it was excellent and very garliccy. LOVED it. Among the top 3 pizzas of all time. The pilsner was great too...no bitter aftertaste. I don't like beer with bitter aftertaste. Must be visited while in Tahoe.

“Expensive for small portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

Not much good for the price. Average american food. Small portions - Big prices. We went in there late night for a quick snack and walked out with a $25 tab!

“Great Food, Great Service, Great Beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013 via mobile

We debated between eating here or going to a chain. Definitely made the right call by going to State Line.
Our food was fantastic. I had the ribs, wife had chicken drumsticks. We both loved our meals and the two different beers I tried were also fantastic.
Our service was also fantastic and we enjoyed the atmosphere as well. If you are looking for a cheap meal this is NOT the place to go but it was worth every penny and we would definitely go back.

“Gluten Free Pizza!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013 via mobile

I'm traveling on business and finding gluten free food is often difficult. My friends wanted to try the local beer and so we headed to Stateline. I was so excited to see gluten free pizza crust on the menu. It was filling and yummy! Thanks for being sensitive to the health needs of others. Also we had great, friendly service.
