“Very good food, fun atmosphere, and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2012

This is a new restaurant, very worthy of its good reviews. We have been there twice for dinners in the last month, and plan to go again soon. The owners have their act together - with good seating everywhere in the restaurant, a fun atmosphere, and very good food. The fresh oysters are good, and if you're sitting at the bar you can watch them prepare them. We prefer to sit at the bar; the conversations are interesting...My New York steak last week was superb, and the ceasar salad was very good. The folks next to us had a boston wedge salad, that looked architecturally modern and yummy to eat. Has already hit the top of the charts by Whitehorse standards, and can't wait to go back again to see what other delights are on the menu. A very nice addition to Main Street! Total for our dinner for two with 2 glasses of wine, ceaser salad, two steaks and coffee was $105.

“Trendy and popular”

We arrived on a Thursday night to a full restaurant, luckily we had a reservation. Our server was helpful and amiable and the food was tasty.

“Top of the Line”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

This would be a good restaurant anywhere, let alone in Whitehorse. Beware that you must make reservations or you will be eating at the bar. We did that the first night we went there, and then made reservations to go back for a second night. The food is excellent and the service was fine. Overall it was a very nice experience.

“Great service, limited menu, high prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2012

The owners have done a wonderful job of renovating an old bar into a steakhouse. The menu is limited, maybe will expand over time (no dessert menu when we were there). Steaks and appies were good. Prices are high, but not out of line for other restaurants of this type in Whitehorse.

“Fun, busy atmosphere, exclusive wines and fabulous steaks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2012

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first dinner here. We had high expectations as Burnt Toast is also a favourite. We were not disappointed! The place was packed so it was super busy and loud but that just added to the ambience. The tuna tataki to start was delicious. We both had the rib eye with peppercorn sauce and it was perfectly cooked to our liking, and very flavourful! The loaded baked potato which came with it, was also delish. I especially liked that they have wines which are not available elsewhere in Whitehorse (including the liquor store!). Enjoyed a bottle of Blasted Church Hatsfield Fuse which I'm usually only able to get in Vancouver. Definitely make a reservation, this place is busy! And for good reason! We will be back.
