“Comfortable bed, well run”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

Well priced family run motel. Pet friendly, cute 70's style building. The rooms are big, beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is clean. Don't expect a hair dryer or shampoo but hey, it's a cheap motel! Good t.v. With lots of channels...most importantly free movie channels!
Only downfalls- dirty old blue carpets, so worn and so cheap to replace.
Free breakfast was meh... Maybe it's because we were one of the 2 guests at the hotel so they slacked. The muffins were edible because its like a Twinkie they can stand the apocalypse. Just grab a muffin and go to Tim's for a coffee and you'll be fine!

We have stayed here a number of times and for sometimes weeks at a time.

The owners are always friendly and accommodating. They also offer free continental breakfast.
They also allow pets-specifically in our case, our dog and do not stick pet owners in the smoking rooms, which a lot of places do.

Our room was very large, desk, couch, sitting table, fridge, large bathroom area and comfortable bed. There were a few stains on our carpet, but we werent bothered by that, as the rooms are always otherwise very clean.

Prices are very fair, and for those staying a few days there is a lovely walking trail right outside the door that goes all around the water through the park, we took advantage of this many times!

Not a five star place, if that is what you are looking for. However perfectly nice and clean for anyone looking to spend a bit less.

We will be back!

Room Tip: Take advantage of the walking trails and next door golf course!

We have been to this motel before two years.but this year experience was terrible. As soon as we entered motel something spice smell which gave me the worst headache. Also the lady employee was not dressed properly and i noticed a crowded family living.anyways.Also my room was not too clean and i found long hair in my towel and on my bedsheets.Bedsheets were not changed as they were having wrinkles which shows just covered up tightly.Breakfast was stale and not too good service.I hope better not going to this place again.

For the money, this is an adequate stop for an overnight stay on the road. It has been renovated, which appears to amount to a fresh coat of paint. No extras in the room other than a flat screen TV, phone and clock radio. The non-smoking stipulation is irrelevant as the carpets in the rooms are very old and stained, and they carry the stale smell of old smoke. Free continental breakfast is basic but satisfying. Great potential to upgrade but as a family operation, I'm sure financing this could be a problem. Owner/operators were very friendly and cooperative and they seemed to work hard to make everyone content.

Room Tip: West side evening sun, east side morning sun!

we always stay at the paradise inn (5th year in a row) on our way through swift current (it has become tradition), as of 2012 they are again under new ownership, same great prices, clean and very friendly service. We will continure to rest our heads here, they have smoking rooms, and a free breakie in the morning (coffee, muffins and bit of cereal). great for budget travelers. large rooms with new t.v's and I believe they are pet friendly

Room Tip: they do seem to fill up late in the evening

My sister reserved the room due to it being within walking distance from her home. First thing we noticed were the big black stains in the carpet and stains on every chair. I then noticed the mirror had been swabbed with a dirty rag, outside window had several years of grime on it. A layer of dust was on the TV cabinet and there were greasy marks on the bed night table. My wife found blonde hair on one washcloth (which smelled old and used) and on a bed pillow. When I entered my father's room with him for the first time, the carpet had crud on it, so vacuming is not done very often. His chairs had stains too. I informed the front desk the rooms were not clean and the woman said she would clean the rooms herself. The next day after "cleaning" we could not discern a difference. Mirror, night table, window and TV cabinet still not touched. On leaving I checked under the bed to make sure we left nothing and staring back at me was a used condom. After posting this I wish I had taken a picture of it. We will never stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay in a different place. This place is affordable but not worth it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and the price very good. Comfortable bed, little fridge and microwave, television, bath and shower, large closet, big sofa, two decent tables and a big picture window. Access to room from hallway and from parking lot. Pet friendly! Highly recommended.
