“Romantic and Quaint!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012 via mobile

A great place to dine for a romantic evening out for our 18th anniversary. The food is very good and the service is excellent. This quaint little restaurant is charming and we were very satisfied by the experience. And even though we were the last couple in the restaurant, there was absolutely no attempt to rush us out the door. It's a little pricey, but well worth the investment! I recommend dining here for a romantic outing and an enjoyable experience.

“Lovely Evening!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2012

Everything about Saint Tropez was excellent-the service, the wine and the food! We will return to this restaurant the next time we are in Saskatoon. We loved the exposed brick and the spiral staircase too!

“Refined Dining in an Upscale Setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

Looking for somewhere to eat on a wet Sunday night, we walked over to Saint Tropez from our hotel. The space is truly amazing - a combination of modern art gallery with a New York loft feel with plenty of light and just the right feeling of coziness. Our starters were the soup and chicken pate, both of which were nicely seasoned and well presented. Mains consisted of a pork loin special and the Filet Mignon. Both meats were cooked very skillfully but the steak was exceptional. I ordered a side of peppercorn sauce but the meat was so good, I ended just tasting the sauce and putting aside. Both mains tended towards the large side for us, but seem typical for dining in Saskatoon. The wine list is decent, with wines by the glass somewhat limited, but a decent pairing with the food. We shared the creme caramel which was very well done. Service was engaging and efficient and the meal well paced once we let our server know that we were not in a rush.

Fine dining is a tricky concept in Saskatoon, and expectations must be adjusted accordingly. But Saint Tropez is about as elevated and refined as it gets in downtown and I would not hesitate to recommend dining here if you get the chance.

“Wonderful place to enjoy a special meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

We enjoyed a birthday/graduation celebration here recently. The restaurant is quaint, clean and prices reasonable for a fancy dining experience. Our waiter was very helpful and down to earth, was not high and mighty like some are in classy dining venues. He made us feel welcome and comfortable. AND the food and wine were the best! Our meal was very ample and tasty and included quite a varity of different veges with the meal, and the fresh homemade buns that went with were awesome. We didn't feel rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! Thank you!

“An enjoyable meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

The interior is nicely done and they use linen tablecloths on all tables so the noise level is quite subdued. It also adds an elegant touch. Interestingly, the background music adds to the atmosphere. So often the background music is too loud or just simply bad and thus detracts from the dinner. Service was friendly and well executed. The food was good. Each meal came with a healthy amount of vegetables which is quite rare these days. They also have an excellent wine list the server was knowledgeable and provided good wine advice.
