Spent a weekend in Saskatoon to try out a few of the restaurants. This was one we had on our list since I had read a lot of positive reviews about it. Overall, it lived up to the billing. My wife had the soup du jour, pork entree and lemon tart. I had the gnocchi, rabbit and pumpkin pie (hey, it was Thanksgiving weekend). None of the courses disappointed, and my wife loved the lemon tart. The menu on the chalkboard was a neat touch. The clientele was a mix of younger groups and older couples so it appealed across a wide range of people. Waitress was friendly and didn't rush us through dinner. Restaurant decor was different - we liked the lights suspended in glass bottles, and the minimalist decor with the concrete floors and simple wooden tables was a nice contrast to the higher end cuisine. Wine list was small, but sufficient to find something we liked. Next time we are in Saskatoon we'll make a point of eating here again. Yes, it's a bit pricey compared to some restaurants, but nice for a special occasion.
