“Very good food, service could have been better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Not sure if it was the day we were there or what, but the service could have been better. We had heard many good things and decided to go around 10:30 a.m. This was what we thought would be a slower time during the week. It was a Friday and we waited to be seated. We waited to get water. We waited a long time to get our order placed. And we waited even longer for our order to arrive. The servers rarely checked on us and we watched a lot of food come out before ours. If the servers could have moved any slower, molasses would win.

As for the food, when it arrived it was great. So, cannot fault the cooking.

“Overall a good experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

After reading the previous reviews I went to Cora's with some concerns, but found myself enjoying the place. We went on a Sunday morning, which perhaps you shouldn't do if you are in a hurry, but if you are only a table of four or fewer the wait wasn't long at all. Ours was a table of nine and we waited a full half hour, but none of us lost our patience. The place was very busy but we did not have to wait overly long for table service or to receive our orders. I had the ham and egg panini and enjoyed it very much. The fruit was fresh and tasty, the English cream dip a very nice touch. Their coffee is very good. We all ate our meals with no complaints, the birthday boy received his song and sparkling apple in short order, all was good. The only thing I would change is the line-up problem, as we had to do so again to pay and leave. This was a busy, noisy joint and we had efficient service and great meals. I would definitely go again.

“Poor Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

It was a very cold morning and we were seated by a window. We asked to be moved to another table but was told that it would screw up their seating arrangements. It wasn't busy plenty of empty tables. After 10 minutes we were freezing and ask please to be move and were told this time by a different waitress that it was cold everywhere in the restaurant. I replied to please turn up the heat it is March and minus 8c. Finally table change and thank them. Now our breakfast arrived guess what? The food was cold... Need I say more

“Over Rated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013 via mobile

We heard all the hype and finally had an opportunity to try Cora's. It wasn't bad, but very ordinary. There presentation is interesting but the food was average, the atmosphere is very much family chain restaurant. Prices were okay and portion size was fine. We just expected more based on all the hype. If you are looking for a basic family breakfast restaurant then this would be the place for you, a partial step up from Smitty's or Denny's but nothing special.

“Breakfast option”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

We went there when it opened and the food was impressive but the wait was long. I decided to try it a second time with a special friend but was totally disappointed. As usual the wait was long( for less customers in the restaurant), and the food was not what I expected-it was average, and considering the price one would expect more. Very disappointing!
