We recently stayed at the Saskatoon Radisson. The hotel provides lovely views of the city, but the fun ends there. Rooms are teensy tiny and dated. We specifically booked a suite for our family of 5. Upon check in, we were told it was not available. They attempted to stuff us into a tiny room with a queen size and a pull out couch. I don't know how they expect people to navigate around the room when the bed is pulled out. A person would literally have to jump from one bed to the other because there is simply no way to walk around. The blanket on the bed had a big hole and looked dirty. Anyway, they eventually gave us a second room down the hall. While it was fine for us to separate for sleeping, it was rather inconvenient in the morning when my husband left for a 6AM meeting. We had to wake one of the little ones because they could not stay alone. Not the biggest problem in the big picture of life, but this is the second time this has happened at this same hotel. (It must be a Saskatoon thing. When we stayed at the Sheraton in the spring, we were not given the two suites we booked - instead 2 little regular rooms.) I don't understand how something can be booked ----- by talking to a live human being, not over the computer-----and then the room selection is botched. The staff were all very friendly.
