“"Definitely Impressed!"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2010

My daughter and I travelled to Regina from a small town looking for a different dining experience...wow we found it in La Bodega! The tapas were excellent, the atmosphere amazing, what a delightful old house beautifully renovated. Can't wait to return in the summer to enjoy the tree top deck!!

“Urban Treehouse”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2010

We ate at this delightful restaurant while on our cross-country Canadian trip. Although it's not literally a treehouse, the three outside decks wrap around a large elm tree (yes, there are still elms in Regina) giving a treehouse effect. We ordered several tapas, and were not disappointed. Best of all, the flan is the second best I've ever had.

“They need to check their humus recipe”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2010

We tried the bread basket and the steak fries. Really not up to par.

The fries were the best and the steak was OK but yikes the condiments with the bread basket were dreadful.

Try some place else...

“Delicious, Unexpected Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2010

Located on Albert Street not too far from the legislature, this restaurant could get passed by if you are driving--the patio looks a bit boring, but keep going! It has a nice "treehouse" section up top for nice evenings--basically built in and around the huge tree at the bottom of the stairs rather than cut it down; perfect for drinks and dessert and tapis with a small group. The restaurant proper is in an older 3 story home and my biggest criticism is that while it definitely has atmosphere, it can be a bit dark and hard to read the menu and they need to get rid of that carpet on the floor and put down something cleaner looking. The tables are small and close together in some sections, so when it is busy it can feel pretty cozy. The service is fast and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. The food was amazing. We had the smoked salmon tapis, we tried the chicken parmesan, the basil pasta (amazing) and the Tuscan spaghetti (all from the organic pasta menu) and the flavours mmm. The beer selection was a bit limited, I had a glass of organic merlot--very nice. We sampled the crepes and the lava pot for dessert--both really good. We really enjoyed the friendly, relaxed atmosphere combined with fine food. A winner.

“Great Great Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2010

I was in Regina for work and ate at La Bodega every night. The servers and bartender were welcoming and extremely attentive. 5 star service without the price. The menu has fabulous variety, and the prices are reasonable.
