September 2013 was only our last of many visits to this building and its surrounding park.
The guides for the guided tours are very committed to making sure visitors learn about the SK government, and prairie politics as history, and each time we have learned something new. At least for Canadians it is a thrill to touch the chair sat in by Tommy Douglas, the father of Canadian medicare, but also to see the names of people my wife, a prairie girl, went to school with listed as members of the legislature and government ministers.
I good weather, especially in Summer, the surrounding grounds are a beautiful park, in Winter, not so much, as this is, of course, the Canadian prairie.
If you can, plan to spend at least a half day.
