excellent museum. I went to see the exhibition of hooked rugs (outstanding) but stayed to see all the rest of the museum. I was impressed.

“history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

This is a really interesting place if you like to learn about the history of a place you are visiting or you need to kill time. Sometimes in Saskatchewan cities there is not a great deal to do, so this fits the bill

“Fascinating collection relevant to "transportation" theme”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Very well presented collection of old and not-so-old cars, snowmobiles and aircraft. Also excellent presentations of other aspects of prairie history. This being Saskatchewan, the North American home of medicare, there is an informative history of medical care in Saskatchewan. Very well worth a visit of a few hours.

“Worth a Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

Lots of interesting stuff to see. Check out the "SnowBirds" display. Took my grandchildren there for a trip down memory lane. I think they really enjoyed all the exhibits. A different Museum experiance for the family.

“Interesting view of the history of transportation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

The museum had some rare pieces which I hadn't seen before. It included vehicles which were from the 70's (made me feel old seeing things that I remember in a museum but I guess that's how time passes). Not as good as the Reynolds Museum in Wetaskiwin, Alberta in my opinion, but a good stop.
